How we work

What can we do for you?

All marketing hype aside, I have spent the past 25 years (straight out of college) working on audio, music and media projects with the creative business community in southern California and all over the country.

That’s thousands of radio commercials, hundreds of audio books,  hundreds of documentary films and corporate videos, dozens of theatrical and dance productions. Educational programs. Yoga instructors. Pick up artists. Sales trainers. Banks. Shopping malls. Evangelists. Jingle companies. Ad agencies. Video producers. Speakers. Authors. Publishing companies. TV news, TV networks. ABC, CBS, PBS, Disney, Tony Robbins…

This has been my life, every day since 1980.

Helping you bring your vision to life is my passion. It’s what I love to do.

So should we work together?

The art? Got it. Technology? Of course. Will you enjoy spending hours, days, weeks with us?  I hope so.  Let’s find out.

Many of our friends and clients have been working with us for 20 years or more. Many for at least a decade.

Rather than showing you lists of equipment such as the P-50 Modulator, let’s just say that we have created a studio environment that is artistically creative, technically equipped, and designed specifically for spoken-word and postproduction.

Since we specialize in spoken word and postproduction, we’re not fitting you in between two death-metal rock band sessions, and assigning the intern from the six month tech school as your engineer. (Please don’t think I’m kidding.)

We do have a great production staff, carefully selected for their creativity and attention to detail.

Deborah is a UCSD grad with several years of experience in music, voiceover, and voice coaching. Vesper is a bright, creative musical artist with a knack for detail and organization. We have worked together on the most grueling technical/medical scripts known to man, thousands of pages. Coaching the voice talent, catching pronunciations. And the good news– not a single request for a re-take.

We work together, as appropriate, to assure that your project is flawless.

Outside the studio…

We bring the same creative and technical expertise to live events, video shoots, and training sessions. From a one-on-one meeting in a corporate boardroom that emerges as a podcast, to a weeklong event at Opryland, distributed by CD and iTunes download to the 700 attendees, and in the meantime having them dancing in the aisles during the break…

So whatever you’ve got cooking, we’d love to help you make it the best it can be.

Cheers,

Scott Higby
